Definitely a Jensen judging from the "HNP" on the frame. I don't think it's a 610 as that had a whizzer, thus called a "triaxial".

It's a good one, but i'm sorry i'm not familiar enough to tell ya the model.

Yeah, the date code nails it as a Jensen made in the 7th week of '50 or other beginning of a decade, but don't know what model it is. Seems like a 500 series without the horn extension.

By the way, the G610 was built very much like what you see in this auction, although with a cast frame, and heavier magnets, I think, and then there was a bracket across the front with a 302-like tweeter mounted, Had one once (sigh). It did not have a whizzer cone. Here are some photos of one.

I have one that is similar, but has metal multi-cell horn thru the middle like Altec. The construction and xover stuff about the same. Mine came out of old Fisher that was in the street. Speaker was mounted in well constructed, ported cab within console. Sounds very nice, I'm carefull to limit power sent to it. Could not take the very nice electronics, push pull output well made. Guess very early 1950's.
